Krishna River Boat Tragedy : 3 more Arrested

Vijayawada : The Andhra Pradesh police have arrested 3 more persons including boat driver Gedela suribabu, Tadela Ramarao,Pulusu Harshavardhan Reddy in connection with the Krishna River boat tragedy. Police alredy arrested 7 persons who belongs to River Boating Adventures Organization. It is known that boat capsized in Krishna River on 12th of this month. The accident occurred at Ibrahimpatnam holy shrine, 10 kilometers from Vijayawada. At that time, boat carrying up to 38 people, 17 people were killed. Another 15 people survived. Seven others are missing. Some others have been rescued by locals fishermen and NDRF teams. The accident took place at while going from Punnamighat to Pavitrasangamam at Vijayawada. Most of the dead were from Ongole.
