Tension prevailed in Kaggal, after TDP leader attacked by opponents

Kurnool: Tension prevailed in Kaggal village in Kurnool district afterTDP candidates of Matralayam segment was injured when his opponents attacked him on Saturday while he was campaigning . According to the early reports coming in, the villagers opposed Reddy from campaigning and was later attacked by the followers of sitting MLA Balanagi Reddy. Thikka Reddy suffered an injury on his left leg following which his gunmen opened fire in the air. During the attack, Madhavaram ASI Venugopal also sustained a bullet injury on his leg. Both the TDP leader and the ASI were shifted to a hospital. A case has been registered.
