Rahul Gandhi will put signature on AP SCS after becoming PM: APCC

Andhara Pradesh Congress Commitee (APCC) president N Raghuveera Reddy said that Rahul Gandhi becoming Prime Minister of India in ensuing elections is historical need. Providing Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh  is only possible with Congress party, he said. Bharosa Yatra launched by Congress reached to Mydukuru on Thursday. Addressing the crowds, the PCC chief pointed out that during its four-and -a-half year BJP led NDA rule, people faced several hardships and feel insecure for their lives due to un-democratic policies being adopted by Central government.


He recalled that providing Special Category Status was mentioned in the A P Reorganisation Act, but Central government violated the Constitution only due to political reasons.


However the PCC president admitted that Congress party should own literally responsible for state bifurcation, but it was implemented only after receiving acceptance in written form all major political parties.


He said that Congress party is keen on providing SCS to the Andhra Pradesh as Rahul Gandhi is willing to put first signature immediately after assuming charge as Prime Minister.


Congress party carders in big numbers participated in Bharosa Yatra from all constituencies in the district. PCC vice- president N Tulasi Reddy and others were present.
