On the directions of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, NIA officials took over the case of the knife attack on YSRCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy and arrived at Visakhapatnam. They met police officials concerned and asked them to hand over case details and probe report to the NIA. But, the police refused to hand over the details by saying that they have to take the State government’s permission. The NIA may take up independent probe based on the complaint lodged by the CISF commandant of the Visakhapatnam Airport.
