Guntur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Andhra Pradesh on January 6th, 2019 for the first time after TDP pulled out of the NDA Government. He will be addressing a huge Public Meeting in Bible Mission Grounds opposite the Acharya Nagarjuna University near Mangalagiri in Guntur district. The meeting was arranged in Guntur district, the native district of BJP State President Kanna Lakshminarayana who has taken this prestigiously.
TDP Supremo and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is planning to stage a huge protest on that day against the Public Meeting of the Prime Minister. The other day, the CM was asking if the PM is coming to see if the people of AP are dead or alive. We are told that Chandrababu Naidu is planning a Padayatra from Guntur to Tenali on the day of the Prime Minister’s visit in protest for betraying Andhra Pradesh on Special Status and other key promises made after the Bifurcation. If this really happens, it will be the biggest protest by any Chief Minister against the Prime Minister. Given that the Protest is planned in Chandrababu Naidu’s own turf, there may not be any Security issues. It has to be seen if the Central Agencies manning the Prime Minister’s Security objects to this Padayatra.
