Gang of robbers attacks on six cotton mills

A gang of robbers broke into six cotton mills on the outskirts of Adoni in the early hours of Friday and decamped with Rs 2 lakh cash. It is learnt that they have injured a security guard at one of the mills, who tried to stop them from committing robbery.
The incident came to light when the victim lodged a complaint with the police on Friday morning. According to Sub-Inspector KP Madhu Prasad, robbers from other state robbed Rs 85,000 from Sriram Cotton Mill.
One of the cotton mills belong to former MLA Meenakshi Naidu. The SI stated that they inspected the CCTV visuals to know the identity of robbers. The cops registered cases and took up investigation.
