Responding to a tweet by Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi on June 2nd, greeting the people of Andhra Pradesh (AP) on state formation, Minister Nara Lokesh asked Modi if he was planning to satisfy AP people with a tweet after depriving the state of its special status and other benefits. As an example of the people's fury, he attached a few comments by the public to his tweet to the PM. At least now the Centre should wake up and respond positively to the demand for special status, he said.
