Archaeologist of the Amaravati Sri Lekha Letter story

ASI’s Superintending archaeologist of the Amaravati Circle T Sreelakshmi was transferred to Bengaluru after her letter to TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal had created a sensation.
In the letter, the archaeologist sought the TTD cooperation to study the feasibility of including TTD and its temples in Tirumala in the monument list. On the same day evening, ASI Director General Usha Sharma had informed the TTD EO that they are withdrawing the letter. It was learnt Sreelakshmi was shocked to know about her transfer as she merely followed the orders of ASI Director (monuments) Taher.
