High Alert For 13 States

Thunderstorms with high wind speeds are likely to occurr in the next couple of days in almost 13 states of North West and East of the country. States like Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh might face the brunt of the storms, which will have wind speed of nearly 50 kmph.
These cyclonic winds accompanied by rain might wreck havoc in these states, as well as to some extent in Odisha, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh (AP), Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu (TN), the weather officiasl said.
