YSRCP Chief Jagan's recent comments have sparked controversy as he said he will rename Krishna district with the name of great legend and Telugudesam founder NTR.
Telugudesam Party leaders criticised Jagan for making baseless comments. People of Vijayawada have expressed their opinion on renaming Krishna district with that of NTR. One of the persons said NTR is an icon of Telugus and Telugus are always indebted to NTR. He said it is better to rename a new district with NTR's name as the government is planning to form two districts out of Krishna district.
