Weather Alerts On North Andhra Pradesh

North Andhra Pradesh (AP), comprising of Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts, is likely to be struck by heavy thunder and lightning. The state Disaster Management Department has urged people to move to safer places.
It has issued notices to District Collectors and also sent messages to BSNL phone users regarding the lightning strikes. The respective district administrations are ensuring that no one stays in danger zones in the event of occurence of thunder and lightning. People were cautioned against moving outdoors while a thunderstorm rages.
