TDP MLA Kannababu has announced that he is quitting TDP

Former TDP MLA Kannababu has announced that he is quitting TDP as he has no recognition in the party. He declared that he will be joining the YSRCP on May 5 in the presence of party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Kannababu served as MLA for Elamanchili constituency in Visakhapatnam district. Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao tried to dissuade Kannababu from quitting the TDP. But, the Minister’s efforts went in vain. He will be contesting from Elamanchili Assembly segment in 2019 elections on YSRCP ticket.
