BJP MP Yashwant Singh said that the govt hasn’t done anything for Dalits in 4 years. In a letter to PM Modi, he said that Dalit MPs like him in the ruling party are victims of atrocities against scheduled castes. Further, he wrote that it has become difficult for them to answer to the community and added that he became an MP only because of reservation.
Uttar Pradesh MPs like Savitri Bai Phule, Chhotelal and Ashok Dohre, representing Bahraich, Roberstganj and Etawah constituencies respectively have also expressed their disappointments by means of their representations.
