23-year-old cook jumps to death from college building

VIJAYAWADA: A 23-year-old cook committed suicide by jumping from the top of Sri Chaitanya Junior College building at Bhaskar Bhavan near Tadigadappa of Vijayawada city on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at around 10.30 am, where Kona Suresh from Visakhapatnam, who works as a vegetable cutter and an assistant cook at the college, jumped from the fourth floor of the building and died on the spot.
According to police, Suresh fell in love with his colleague Bombay Seenu’s daughter and after he sent her away from the city, he was left depressed, leading him to take the extreme step.
