Visakhapatnam: Expressing several turncoats in Telugu Desam, YSR Congress Anakapalle parliamentary district president Gudivada Amarnath challenged HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao to announce that the latter will contest from the TD in 2019 elections. Amarnath came down heavily on Ganta and said that Ganta hailed from Prakasam district and is known for changing political affiliations and opportunistic politics. He may ditch the TD in the coming elections. He is also  known for land grabbing scams in Vizag region, he added.

While Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu can be termed as ‘420’, Ganta double of that 840.” The YSR Congress MPs’ resignation will lead to a national discussion on how the state is cheating its people on the lines of bifurcation promises. The TD have no moral values and rights to question the YSRC’s MPs’ future action plan against the injustice done to AP, he added. The YSRC is committed to achieve Special Category Status and separate railway zone for AP with Vizag as its headquarters.
