Distributing valuable books to the citizens free of cost

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Libraries Association is distributing valuable books to the citizens free of cost at their office of Sarvottama Bhavan near Benz Circle for two days from Saturday, according to Ravi Sarada, Secretary of the Association.


She said in a statement here on Friday that 23,000 books on various disciplines, including logic, philosophy, religion, spirituality, social sciences, languages, science, engineering, medicine, arts, Telugu, Hindi and English literature, history, children literature, personality development and many more areas, would be distributed.


She said that the APLA which has been committed to the cause of developing personal libraries and to improve readership has taken up the huge task of free distribution of books for the last two years.


She said that there had been tremendous response and hoped the citizens would utilise the opportunity to collect rare and valuable books to their personal libraries. She appealed the people to avail the opportunity and get benefited. The books would be distributed from 9 am to 5 pm at Sarvottama Bhavan opposite Eenadu office in the city.
